Farmhouse Catering is Hiring a Facilities Team Member Near Nevada, IA
Farmhouse Catering is looking for a facilities team member for our Gatherings Event Venue to join our team. Gatherings is located in the downtown historic district of Nevada, Iowa, It is a full-service venue that hosts multiple events weekly ranging from corporate business meetings to weddings and receptions. Our venue holds up to 250 people.
Some duties of the position include but are not limited to:
Qualifications:
- 18 years
- Reliable transportation to work
- Able to lift 100lbs
- Available Sunday or Mondays anytime and Wednesday or Thursdays anytime
Responsibilities -
- Able to lift 100 lbs
- Cleaning duties include: mopping the venue (aprox. 4,000 sq ft), sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, taking out trash, etc
- Tear down tables, chairs, event decor
- Set up tables, chairs, event decor
Availability - at least 1-2 days a week depending on event schedule: Sunday afternoons or early evenings OR anytime Monday AND Wednesday afternoon OR early evenings or anytime Thursdays
Wage-18 : pay $18-$25 based on experience
This is a part time position with estimated 5-10 hours a week.
We offer on the job training therefore experience is not required but is a plus.
